Moar music.

Edit: Reuploaded the song since it was miles too slow originally.

Engage by The Bearded One

New song above woo! I'm also fairly confident some parts of the solo would be physically impossible on guitar. To guitarists out there: Challenge accepted?

Anyways, some older stuff, re-done and remixed slightly down here:

Burr.

The title is onomatopoeic. Titling instrumental songs is difficult, so I'm just calling it Burr, why not. You can't stop me.

New song: Y U NO UPLOAD?

Man, that took a long time. Soundcloud absolutely refused to upload a track for... some reason?

Anyway, I finally got it working nao, so here it is. It's more "game-y" than the last one. I threw in a chorus anyway, then when I decided to try something else, couldn't think of what to replace it with. So it stayed. AND YOU'LL LIKE IT.

New song time.

Just trying to get this whole uploading music thing started. This is an old song I recently converted to chip tune from midi, because lets face it, midi sounds like shit.

Anyway, adventure ho!

Review Time - X-Men: First Class

I've been pretty lazy about reviewing lately, but luckily, those days are coming to a middle.
I recently saw X-Men: First class, which seems as good a time as any to get back into this whole reviewing things business. Read on, etc.

Speech Check

Today I'm going to talk about game protagonists, the words that come out of their cake holes, and what a tricky bastard that can be to get right. Game protagonists differ hugely from any other medium since they act as a vessel for the player, but simultaneously must drive the plot forward. They must be given choices, but also focus to keep a story moving. It's the fundamental restriction of giving the player a place in the world, but without the tools to fully make them a part of it. It's a constant power struggle, but it also allows wildly different approaches for different games, just part of what makes gaming so great in the first place.

Problems with metal.

Well, this is my first attempt at a sort of essay type thing, and what better way to start than with something completely opinionated and most likely disagreeable with everyone (metal fans or not.) Well, it's my blog, and I can say what I want! Wait, wait, where are you going? Did I mention dear reader, that you are also quite handsome? Oh yes, most certainly! I'll talk more about how handsome you are further in by the way, just thought I'd add that. It's beyond that 'read more' button, guess you'll just have to press it to see what I said, eh?
